Description

Workshop Presented by DC-MD Justice For Our Neighbors

Hosted by Immigration Action Group at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville

  • Ever wonder why undocumented immigrants didn’t just wait in line and come in legally?
  • Or why they don’t sign up to become “legal” after they are here?
  • And how do visas work, anyway?
  • What’s a green card and how do you get one?
  • Is there something wrong with our immigration system?

This informative workshop will address these questions and more, providing an overview of current immigration law and policies. Angela Edman, Managing Attorney, will explain the facts about the different kinds of legal status within a complex immigration system.

Light refreshments will be served.

This workshop is free, but donations to Justice For Our Neighbors will be gratefully accepted.
